In today’s world, it’s impossible to avoid toxins. Thankfully, our bodies can usually help get rid of toxins, but at times it may need a little help. When you detoxify, or ‘cleansing’, you help rid your body of impurities by making some dietary adjustments, getting active and supporting your liver and other organs of elimination with natural health products.

Some patients choose to detoxify after a period of overindulgence in food and alcohol, after a health history or testing reveals a toxic burden in the body, or as a part of ‘spring cleaning’.

Some of the common signs and symptoms that your body may need to detoxify include:

  • Headaches and migraines
  • Joint pain
  • Skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema and rashes
  • Constipation and/or diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Chronic and autoimmune disease
