I am a graduate of the National Academy of Osteopathy in North York. To many, manual osteopathy is still a very unknown therapy. I strongly believe that it is an incredible treatment for many patients dealing with chronic pain or other nagging injuries. A few years ago, I didn’t even know much about osteopathy!

While I strongly believe that I chose to study and practice osteopathy based on my general interest in human kinetics, I also chose to study it based on the idea of helping people. I wanted to be part of a new and upcoming profession that can help people in ways that many traditional therapies cannot.

I was diagnosed with structural scoliosis at the age of 19 years old. While it was mild, it was very painful! I found myself unable to do many of the things that I loved to do, or I was doing them with severe limitations. After experimenting with many kinds of therapy and treatment, I tried manual osteopathy. I was astounded immediately by how much better I felt! It was such a gentle, yet effective way to manage the pain that I had been feeling for years. I was back to doing the things that I loved without the nagging of my chronic pain. That’s when I was hooked on osteopathy!

I want to help those who have been accustomed to just ignoring their pain and moving on with their lives. I want to show people that it is not necessary to be taking chronic prescriptions just to get along with their day-to-day lives. I want to help people live their lives to the fullest, without nagging pain or injuries getting in the way!

When I am not practicing or studying manual osteopathy, I can often be found outside hiking or skiing, catching up on hockey, or relaxing at home. I love to stay active, eat good food, and enjoy life!
